Proposals

Primary goal is to design, construct and operate magnetic levitation transportation systems for passengers and freight.


Passenger System Proposals

  1. 1998 A 5-mile, $100 million, elevated line with 10 stations for the Irvine Proposition 116 Demonstration Project, California.
  2. 2000 A 60-mile, $600 million, elevated line with 60 stations for the CenterLine Project of the Orange County Transportation Agency, California.
  3. 2001 A 21-mile, $500 million, elevated line with 12 stations for the Austin City Rapid Transit Project, Texas.
  4. 2004 A 3-mile, $90 million, elevated line with two stations between SeaTac Airport and Tukwila Railroad Station, Washington.


Freight System Proposals

  1. 2002 An 800-mile, $15,000 million, LNG land bridge from Prudhoe Bay to Valdez in Alaska with a capacity of 45,000,000 tons per year.
  2. 2003 An 80-mile, $2,000 million, LNG land bridge across Panama with a capacity of 45,000,000 tons per year.
  3. 2004 15 Electrodynamic hydropower systems in California, Nevada and Oregon, ranging from 1 to 25 miles in length, from 13 to 820 GWh/year production and from $4 million to $235 million in capital cost.

All KMag systems include standby generators to assure full continued service at all times.
